  • Nan M. Dial, 86, be­loved wife, mother, grand­mother and great-grand­mother, passed on to meet her husband of 58 years, Jim, on June 6, 2013. Nan was born April 18, 1927, to Avis and Ella Jones of Turnersville, Texas.
     
    She was preceded in death by her parents; hus­band, Jim; brothers, Jehue and Bruce Jones; and sis­ter, Bobby Raley.
     
    Jim and Nan married at Epworth Methodist Church in Oklahoma City on November 23, 1951. Nan was a homemaker completely devoted to her family. As a young mar­ried couple, they resided in Cuba, Guatemala and Texas, before setting roots in Oklahoma and starting a family with sons, Mike and Greg. As a believer, Nan was a longtime mem­ber of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City and later a member of First United Methodist Church in Ar­dmore. Her passions in­cluded golfing with the family and cheering on the Sooner football team.
     
    Nan is survived by sister, Mary Mattar of Weslaco, Texas; brother, Dane Jones and wife, Fran of Benbrook, Texas; son, Mike of Ardmore, Okla.; son, Greg and wife, Laura of Edmond, Okla.; grand­daughter, Rachel and husband, Danton of Dallastown, Pa.; grandson, Matt of Ardmore; grand­daughter, Amanda and grandson, Ben of Edmond; great-grandson, Elliott of Dallastown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
     
    A special thank you to Dr. Vernier and Dr. Wick­ersham of Mercy Clinic, Mercy Hospice, Grace Living Center of Edmond and Elmbrook Home of Ardmore.
     
    Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond.
     
    Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Church of the Servant, Chapel of the Cross, 14343 N. MacAr­thur Blvd., in Oklahoma City.
     
    In lieu of flowers, dona­tions may be made to the Salvation Army of Oklaho­ma for tornado victims.
