Steve Crawford, otherwise known as the Magic Archeologist, will perform today at the Chickasaw Regional (Public) Library System Headquarters at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. as part of the Summer Reading Program.

Crawford will introduce kids to his ancient finds including a magic lamp, mysterious crystals, artifacts, dinosaur bones and more. Be a part of the explorations and see what amazing things can happen when discovering things “underground.” “Join me as I introduce you to some special animals and show you the magic of bones, rocks, sand and other treasures,” Crawford said.

Crawford invites children and their families to this free program in the meeting room of the CRLS Headquarters at 601 Railway Express.

Large groups are asked to call ahead; contact Shawn Brown at (580) 223-3164 or (888) 520-8103.

This Summer Reading Program is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. Sonic Corporation is also a state-wide supporter.
