The Greater Southwest Historical Museum is having a t-shirt design contest.

Anyone is eligible to submit a design before July 22.

Those entering are asked to design a one-color screen print design to be printed on a color t-shirt. Work size can be no larger than 10 inches by 13 inches.

Submission requirements must be original artwork digital or on nice sketch paper in black. Digital files must be at least 300 dpi and in .jpg format.

Artwork will not be returned and all entries will be posted on Facebook and in media coverage.

To submit, include a full name, artist bio, email and a telephone number to gshmcurator@cable or in person.

The designs will be judged by a panel from the community and staff of GSHM. Selections will be based on which design most successfully supports the mission statement of the museum. The purpose of the Greater Southwest Historical Museum is to collect, preserve and interpret the social, cultural and economic history of south central Oklahoma with special emphasis on Ardmore and Carter County.

Winners will receive a gift card for $50 from the museum store and their shirt will be a limited edition sale item.

To ask questions, call the Greater Southwest Historical Museum at (580) 226-3857.
