  • Funeral services for Yuma Jean Allen, of Ar­dmore, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with the Rev. David Gardner officiating. Family visita­tion will be from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at the Lebanon Cemetery at a later date.
    Yuma was born Sep­tember 20, 1930, in Ring­ling, Oklahoma, to the late Gerdis and Thelma (Albin) Acox. She died on June 10, 2013, at Mercy Hospital Ardmore.
    Yuma had lived in southern Oklahoma most of her life and was a member of the Ardmore Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She loved cook­ing, gardening and trav­eling with her husband to jobs with Sherwood Construction and caring for her dog, Baby.
    Her parents preceded her in death, as well as, two husbands, Willis I. Harmon and Harold Morris Allen; a daughter, Patricia Keller; a stepson, Roger Allen; and two brothers, Douglas Acox and Jerry Acox.
    Yuma is survived by two sons, Michael Harmon and wife, Kay of Spring­dale, Arkansas, and Billy Harmon of Ardmore, Oklahoma; two stepchil­dren, Sharon Halstead­Quick of Savannah, Mis­souri, and David Allen of Kansas; grandchildren, Michael Keller of New Orleans, Louisiana, Bob­bie Howard of Pottsboro, Texas, Christie Harmon and Craig Harmon, both of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Nikki Stewart and Kim­berly Rowton, both of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Stephen Harmon of Oklahoma City, Okla­homa, and Bill, David and Robin Harmon, all of Colorado; step grand­children, Angie Allen-Hale and Crystal Hal­stead-Hollands, both of Savannah, Missouri; six step grandchildren; nu­merous great-grandchil­dren; several great-great­grandchildren; and a sis­ter-in-law, Mable Acox of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
