Services for Roger Dale Wilson, 52, of Ringling, will be held Monday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at the East Lincoln Street Church of Christ in Healdton with Glenn Ballard, Bill Renfro, and Glen Osbourn officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton.

Roger was born October 13, 1960, in Ardmore to Bill and Charlene (Ogletree) Wilson. He passed from this life on June 13, 2013, at his home with his wife, sister and mother-in-law by his side, and is now is at rest awaiting his eternal reward.

He attended Healdton Public Schools graduating in 1978. He married the love of his life Judy Johnson in Arlington, Texas, on May 8, 1982. Together they had two children. Roger worked at the Valero Refinery in Ardmore for 25 years as an electrician.

He was a member of the East Lincoln Street Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. He had many interests which included going to church, spending time with his family. His boys and grandbabies were the light of his life. He loved working on his farm which he kept immaculate. He also loved working at Valero. He was a faithful Christian who served the Lord by serving his family, friends, and those in need.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy Wilson; his two sons, Jared and wife, Janene Wilson of Waurika, and Wade Wilson of Healdton; two granddaughters, Alexis and Madilyn Wilson of Waurika; parents, Bill and Charlene Wilson of Healdton; one brother, Billy and his wife, Pam of Lorena, Texas; one sister, Donna Sue Householder of Farmerville, La.; and 21 nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Martin, Calvin Pender, Ricky Eubanks, Aaron Miller, Dale Powell and Billy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are members of the East Lincoln Street Church of Christ and long-time cherished friends at Valero.

The family will receive friends this evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Healdton.
