No school will be more represented this summer on the 2013 USA Softball Women’s National Team than Oklahoma as Lauren Chamberlain, Destinee Martinez and Keilani Ricketts were all selected for the squad.
The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball announced the 18-player squad on Friday after a three-day selection camp earlier in the week.
The National Team will take part in three competitions this summer, beginning with the World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City, July 11-14.
Tulsa pitcher Aimee Creger was also named to the 18-player roster. Creger, a senior from Yukon, is a two-time All-American who was the 2013 Conference USA Pitcher of the Year.
