  • Minnie Louise Trivitt, age 78, of Ardmore, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home. Services will conclude in the chapel. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore.
    Minnie was born on Feb. 10, 1935, in Coal County, Okla., to Roy and Martha Polly Elizabeth (Ennis) Graham. She graduated from Ashland High School. Minnie married James LeRoy Trivitt at McAlester, Okla., on October 30, 1954. She worked as a bookkeeper with Stillwater Floral while James was in school studying to be an electrician. She later became employed as a bookkeeper in the oil and gas industry for Dilries Oil.
    Minnie enjoyed crocheting, piecing quilts, embroidery, playing dominos with friends and family, and she loved making dresses for her granddaughter. In her later life, she liked to keep in touch with her friends and family by phone. Family and friends were always first to her.
    She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, James, in 2002 and her son, James Dwayne Trivitt, in 1992. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Elvis, Bill, and Robert Graham and two sisters; Loren Johns and Lois Chick.
    Minnie is survived by her sons; Gene "Geno" William Trivitt and wife, Sherry, of Wichita, Kan., and Herschel "Victor" Trivitt of the home. Daughter, LaQuita Kay Pence of Mansfield, Texas. Grandchildren; Wesley Trivitt, Ashley Trivitt, Amanda Henderson, Tabitha Dickerson, Katrina Ziegler, Angela McQuiston, Jason Trivitt, Jennifer Hicks, and Jamie Jean Trivitt and numerous great-grandchildren. Brothers; Irvin Graham, of Noble, Okla., and George Graham and wife, Martha, of Norman, Okla. Sisters; Cleo McEntire and husband, Jim, of Woodville, Okla., and Wanda Sue Bradley and husband, James, of Ada, Okla.
    Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Boydstun, Tim Graham, Creede Tibbs, Greg Elliott, Michael Blevins, Jamie Palmer, Jordan Boydstun, and Phillip Graham.
    Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest.
