Three Ardmore residents, all passengers in a pickup, were injured in a late night single vehicle country road crash Thursday
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Jamie Stidham, 21, was airlifted from the scene in stable condition. She was admitted to Plano Medical Hospital, Plano Texas, with internal injuries.
James Hicks III, 31, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Ardmore and later airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted in stable condition with multiple injuries.
Michaila Pennick, 16, was also taken to the local emergency room by ambulance. She was treated for minor injuries and later released.
Tristan Albert McDonald, 26, Gene Autry, was identified as the driver of the 1990 Chevrolet pickup that crashed shortly before midnight on a county road one mile south of Gene Autry. McDonald was not injured.
Patrol reports indicate McDonald was eastbound and ran off the road to the right. The truck rolled once. Stidham was ejected during the crash. Hicks was partially ejected from the rear window.
Seatbelts were not in use.
Cause of the crash was listed as driving under the influence — alcohol.
