Funeral services for Stanley James Burnam are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Craddock Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Robert Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will hold a visitation at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8.
Stanley was born Aug. 30, 1944 to C.J. and Margie Burnam in Waurika. He passed this life on June 29, 2013 in an Oklahoma City hospital. He and Luree Owen were married in Ardmore on Feb. 16, 1968. He was retired from Michelin Tire where he worked in quality control. He was a member of the New Hope Church of God. The only thing he loved more than the outdoors was introducing his grandkids to the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of the home, Luree; son Chad Burnam and his wife Tessa of Ardmore; daughter Michelle Keeney and her husband Chris of Oklahoma City; brothers Charles Burnam and his wife Deatra, and Rickey Burnam and his wife Barbara, both of Ardmore; and grandchildren Taylor and Tanner Keeney, and Dillon and Greta Burnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Medcalf, Tyler, Levi and Kevin Burnam, Steve Adamo and Clayton Greco.
