  • Marion Connie Lund was born on May 10, 1918, in Claremore. Her parents were Marion Ayre Miller Jr. and Ima Gladys Cooper Miller. She graduated from high school in Claremore.
The love of her life was Harold Andrew Lund and her daughter, Sharon Louise Dobson, her grandsons, John Vincent Dobson II and Sean Andrew Dobson and his lovely wife, Andrea Nichole "Nyki" Dobson. Her precious grandchildren include Riley Andrew Dobson, Ali Nichole Dobson, John Ashton Dobson and John Vincent Dobson III.
Marion and Harold lived in the area for more than 40 years. Marion was a sharp business woman and worked for the love of it; from the oil field supply companies in West Texas, to being the "trouble shooter" in the world's largest JCPenney store in Anchorage, Alaska. Her near photographic memory and natural savvy made her popular with her Duplicate Bridge buddies. How she loved to play bridge.
She was Sharon's support in three companies and she built her last company when she was 83. She was a strong mentor and best friend. We will not have to miss her for her spirit will be by our side every moment of every day.
They attended the Methodist Church in Mannsville.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Craddock Funeral Home. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Relay for Life of Ardmore and American Cancer Society, 6525 N. Meridian, Suite 110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
