The Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation recently released a new application allowing Oklahoma Educators an online location, available 24/7, to view certification examination history on multiple platforms. In addition, the application allows OCTP to collect and monitor Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Education (CEOE) data electronically.
The OCTP Educator Assessment application was created to replace an antiquated Access database, and has compiled an all-new electronic database of CEOE scores for educators and educator candidates for the State of Oklahoma. The application will help alleviate staffing constraints needed to complete previously manual and time consuming processes.
“OCTP routinely fielded calls from schools or teachers needing a copy of their test results,” said Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation Interim Executive Director, Renee Launey-Rodolf. “The new online tool will help reduce the call volume by allowing the users to login and print off their scores themselves.”
