Truth is Stranger than Fiction

Phillip Capshaw provides his own unique perspective on everything from local to world events and, as the blog title suggests, believes that nothing is funnier than observing the comical nature of our fellow man and especially Southern Oklahomans. Phillip is a native of Ardmore, Oklahoma, with varied interests who likes to poke fun at almost any group and occupation, but feels as if there is much to make fun of in passing the mirror everyday.

Since former Judge Tom Walker beat me to the punch on his letter about our police chief situation, I will pick on another department.

Actually, I just ran across this old photo in my phone and thought it was worth sharing. Spring of last year, it was hard for the city to keep up with the mowing.

There is a little one-block area in my neighborhood that is considered a park or at least the city owns it. Some creative citizen did a little code enforcement of his own. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
