Sometimes, the most wonderful parts of small town life, are the simple everyday events that quickly bring out our inner child, and one sound can bring adults and children running, screaming with glee...can you hear it? Listen...go by the window, see? That soft tinkling sound? It's the ice cream truck!

One of the things I love about living downtown is the ice cream truck. Children come screaming out of their homes when the sound of the bells start winding through the neighborhood, much like we did 30 years ago..begging for some change, hoping our favorite kind was in that truck, and praying the truck didn't pass us by before our parents found the coveted money we yearned for.

So if you hear those chimes, take a moment, grab some change, and make friends with your inner child.

Just another small town adventure, in our hometown.
