Two Ardmore educators have been reassigned to new administrative positions.

The Ardmore City Schools Board of Education hired Amy Benson as Will Rogers Elementary principal and Jelana Mosley as high school assistant principal.

Benson has been the assistant principal at Will Rogers for the past year, and previously worked in Lone Grove Public Schools.

"I'm honored to work with such an amazing staff, and look forward to serving in this role," Benson said.

Mosley has been teaching in Ardmore for 12 years — seven years at the high school and the past five years at the middle school. She earned both her bachelor's degree and masters degree from East Central University.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge of being an administrator. I began working on my masters right out of undergrad," Mosley said.

New hires were Sibyl Cantrell as high school counselor, Teresa Kirkpatrick as Charles Evans Elementary fourth-grade teacher and Megan Tucker as Charles Evans fifth-grade teacher.
