  • Funeral services for Kevin Lee ThompsonFuneral services for Kevin Lee Thompson, 23, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory, conducted by Rev. Dan Patman. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
    A time of visitation and support for family and friends is scheduled from 6 to 7 this evening at the funeral home.
    Kevin was born Sept. 27, 1989, at Ardmore, and had lived here all of his life. He died here Saturday, July 13, 2013, in the local hospital.
    The son of Wesley Paul Thompson and Nancy Joann Van Dyke Thompson, Kevin liked to listen to country music; he loved talking to his Elmo, and Barney and Wiggles were his favorite cartoons. He particularly enjoyed doing donuts in his wheel chair and car rides. Kevin had participated in Special Olympics, and won several medals and ribbons.
    He is survived by his mother, Nancy Joann Thompson of Ardmore. His father and brother, Benjamin Michael Harrod preceded him in death.
