Funeral services for George Dee Waller, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, in the Milo Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Leo Potts. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery with military honors.
Born May 20, 1934, at Bartlesville, Okla., to the late George Dudley Waller and Mary Hansard Waller, George was a graduate from Bartlesville High School, the class of 1952.
He and the former Berdenia Doane were married May 20, 1955, at Dewey, Okla., and were residents of the Lone Grove community since 1972. George was an oil field pump electrician, having worked for Basic Glass for nine years, and the last 15 years he operated Motor's Electric, a small engine repair service.
George had served honorably in the U.S. Army. He passed away at his Lone Grove residence Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Berdenia Waller of the home; two sons, Kevin Waller, Crowder, Okla., and Mike Waller, Lone Grove; grandsons Michael Waller, Little City, Okla., and Brandon Albrightson; sister Mona Dobbs, Bartlesville; and daughter-in-law Brenda Waller.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a foster granddaughter, Tamyra Jette Waller, and sister Lois Glasser.
