The Chickasaw Regional (Public) Library System recently added Fold3 to its database resources.

Fold3 will allow library card holders to research family records including those of Native American, United States, Military Draft archives and more.

The collection includes Dawes Enrollment Cards, Indian Census rolls from 1885-1940, Civil War Record, and a U.S. Census of over 127,000,000 documents.

Also included in the database are military group records and service records from the War of 1812, Revolutionary War, Mexican War and others. Included in the military records are personal photos, registers and stories of the men and women who served.

Genealogists, researchers and historians will have the capability to find accurate information while using the Fold3 site. Also included are newspapers, city directories and naturalization records.

"We are excited to offer such an extensive research site," said Head Reference Librarian Pam Bean. "We have many people who use our library to research family history and genealogy and Fold3 has the archives to meet their needs."

CRLS offers many databases to cardholders, all for free.
