Wilma was born Dec. 14, 1933, south of Wilson, to the late Millard Thomas Tadlock and Geneva I. (Williams) Tadlock. She departed this life Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at her home in Wilson.
Wilma was raised at Rexroat, attending school there. She graduated from high school there in 1951 as the class valedictorian, and was a star basketball player. She married Bill Marshall and soon became a caring mother and devoted homemaker. She and her children returned to the Wilson area in 1972, and Wilma began a lifelong career working in the grocery retail business. She was employed mostly at Best Yet and later Buy For Less of Ardmore, where most recognized her as the tall black-headed woman with the beautiful smile working in the cubicle. She later was employed at Sooner Foods of Sulphur, where she retired from in 2009. During her years at Best Yet, she met Francis Rozzell, who she dated for 12 years before marrying. They were united in marriage on Aug. 24, 1988, at Ardmore. Wilma was an aggressive sports fan, and most recently was well known in attending local sporting events of her grandson, " Lil man," at Healdton. She always loved to cook for everyone, and was a longtime charter member of the Rexroat Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Millard and Geneva (Williams) Tadlock; husband, Francis who passed away on Oct. 28, 2010; brother L.D. Tadlock; son Mark Rozzell; and daughter-in-law Carlette Marshall.
