Faith Hospice will have a community memorial bereavement service at 7 p.m. Monday in the Ardmore Garden Club, 500 Stanley St. The service is open to the public, as well as families who have had loved ones or friends on service with Faith Hospice.
"Grieving is a natural state of recovery after thee loss of anyone you care about or has had an instrumental part in your life, said Chaplain Morgan Ashworth. "Our team at Faith Hospice is committed to giving back to our community for the support and generosity that we receive for our patients and families and this event is one way we can achieve that goal."
The hospice serves patients diagnosed with life-threatening illness within a 50-mile radius of Ardmore including: nursing care, medical equipment, medicines related to the illness, spiritual and emotional support, as well as social services from the community. Volunteers assist with patient care, special events and office duties. Dr. Michael Carnahan services as medical director.
The hospice is located at 1122 Walnut Drive.
