A Ratliff City man died early Tuesday, and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash on state Highway 7.
Shelby Blessin, 25, died from multiple injuries at the scene of the 12:10 a.m. crash 9.6 miles east of U.S. Highway 81, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Blessin was a passenger in a 2004 Dodge pickup driven by Jennifer Kimbro, 24, Wynnewood. She was taken to Duncan Regional Hospital and later transferred to OU Medical Center, where she was admitted in serious condition with multiple injuries.
Kristy Bowen, 43, Wynnewood, a second passenger in the car, was airlifted to Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She was admitted to the medical facility in critical condition with multiple injuries.
OHP said the car was westbound on SH 7 when Kimbro went left of center. She over-corrected, sending the car off the right side of the road for about 385 feet. Kimbro over-corrected a second time, sending the car into a broadslide across both lanes of the highway before it rolled four times. Neither the driver nor the two passengers were wearing seat belts. All three were ejected.
Reports indicated troopers noted an "odor of alcohol beverage" on Kimbro. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
