Glenn Cantrell of Lone Grove captured the reserve world championship title and the first place Super-Select title in weanling fillies at the 2013 Adequan Select American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show Wednesday in Amarillo.

Cantrell showed his homebred American Quarter horse Execute Faith. The 2013 palomino mare is sired by Execute and out of Mesmerized.

In the weanling fillies class, 17 entries competed for world champion honors and a purse of $8,500. Reserve world champions received a prize package that included a custom-designed silver trophy, Montana Silversmiths buckle, a specially designed logoed jacket, courtesy of Cripple Creek Outerwear, product from Tex Tan or WeatherBeeta and a medallion.

AQHA recognizes the top three Super-Select competitors in every class at the Adequan Select World. Super-Select is recognition for exhibitors age 70 and over. Exhibitors winning the Super-Select division receive a plaque, and the achievement will appear on the official records of the horse and exhibitor.
