Mary Grace Harris, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born on May 13, 1926, in Lebanon, to the late Jessie K. Shilling and Elsie J. Smith Shilling.
Mary was raised in Enville, Okla., and attended Marietta Schools where she graduated. Mary married Carl J. Harris on Dec. 29, 1945, in Madill. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1985. She lived in Marshall and Love County before moving to Alma, Ark., where she lived for 10 years. In 2012, Mary moved to Lebanon where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, yard work, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Harris, Alma, Ark., and Roger Harris, Lebanon; great-granddaughter, Lindsey Page of the home; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Irene Pattillo; brothers, Robert, Hoyt and Buddy Shilling; son, Randell Harris; daughter, Belva Page Burris; and grandson, Chad Page.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill. Roger Russell will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
Casket bearers are Christopher Page, Rocky Harris, Travis Woodruff, Randy Hood, Earl Massinggill and Clancy Hallum.
