The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said alcohol was involved in a crash that sent a Coleman man to the Ardmore hospital Thursday night.
The accident happened about 9:40 p.m. on state Highway 48A, 5 .1 miles northeast of Milburn. Clifford Leonard, 57, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Ardmore where he was admitted in stable condition with multiple injuries.
The patrol said Leonard was eastbound on the north shoulder of the highway in a 2006 Honda ATV. He lost control of the ATV and the vehicle rolled one time. Leonard was not wearing a helmet at the time. Cause of the crash was listed as driving under the influence of alcohol.
