  • Patricia Lee Dunbar, 67, departed this world for her eternal home on the 29th of September 2013, surrounded by her family in Ardmore. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ardmore, under the direction of the family and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
    Patricia was born on the 23rd of October 1945, to Jack and Myrtle Uzzell in Dallas.
    Patricia Lee Dunbar spent her childhood summers in Wayne, and later, retired to Ardmore after 25 years with the City of Dallas Water Department. She was an avid reader and member of the Ravinous Readers Club of Ardmore. She often made book donations to the Ardmore Public Library.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Myrtle Uzzell; her son, Micheal Rance Uzzell; and in-laws, Frank and Hester Dunbar.
    Patricia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Billie Frank Dunbar; children, Wayne and Melanie Dunbar, Kevin and Tawnia Dunbar, Carrie and Richard Hudson, Heather Parnell and Stephen Saunders and Jennifer Dunbar. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Christinia, Courtney, Chelsey, Nathaniel, Caleb, Robbie, Zoe, Spencer, Benjamin and Timothy; her twin sister, Pamela Navarro and family, Eloise, Elliot, Raymond, Angel and Hilda Navarro; her cousin, Carolyn; and her dear friends, Elaine Arnall, Billy Ferrell and Terry Grant.
    She will be dearly missed by all she met. We loved her colorful character and warm heart.
    Cremation services were provided by Griffin~Hillcrest.
