  • Funeral services for Maggie Beatrice Wyatt, 94, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013, at the graveside in Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas, officiated by the Rev. Jimmy May.
    Mrs. Wyatt, daughter of the late Herman Lee Bush and Mary Elizabeth Joplin Bush, was born February 25, 1919, at Lewisville, Texas. She passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in an Ardmore healthcare facility.
    Maggie Beatrice Bush and Herschell Wyatt were married January 17, 1936. Herschell preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Wyatt moved to Ardmore in 2000 from Whitewright, Texas. In Ardmore, she was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. During her life, she had worked for the Linda Joe Shoe Factory, the Thomas Beckett Company and the Inca Metal Company. A good dominos player, she liked to play 42; enjoyed fishing, hunting, quilting and crafts.
    Survivors include her two daughters, Claudia Wood of Ardmore, and Barbara Dennis and her husband, Charles, St. Joe, Texas; a son, Harold Wyatt and his wife, Jean, Greenville, Texas; her son-in-law, Max Robertson, 12 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wyatt was preceded in death by a daughter, Pauline Robertson; granddaughter, Lori Allison; grandson, Ricky Lee; brothers, Roy, Amos, Warren and Abraham; and sisters, Dee, Susie and Opal.
    A time of visitation and support for family and friends will be from 6 to 7 this evening at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory.
