Plainview swept the top three spots in the girls 3200-meter run for 4A through 6A schools on Saturday at the Pre-State Meet on the Gordon Cooper Vo Tech course at Oklahoma Baptist University.
Madi Gray claimed the top spot with a time of 12:15, followed by Darian Barnes (12:20) in second place and Kyleigh Norris (12:37) in third.
Bailey Sutherlin (12:56) finished seventh, Jessica Woods (13:19) was 16th, Hannah Ross (13:40) finished 18th and Hope Salzman finished 41st (14:10).
Plainview won the team title with 24 points and a total time of 1:04.21 and an average of 12:52.20.
The Plainview boys finished fifth as a team, with Jackson Daube the top finisher in eighth with a 17:18.
Elijah McPhail (18:30) was 35th, Yaseem Surbasi (18:36) was 43rd, Austin Bell (19:03) was 66th, Josh Hicks (19:07) was 70th, Jalen Shriver (19:26) was 75th, McKenna Rag (19:41) was 88th and Josh Jones (20:01) was 99th.
In the boys 5K run, the Lone Grove Longhorns finished 18th as a team.
Kendall Freeman was the top finisher for Lone Grove in 26th with an 18:20.
Bryce Newton (20:43) finished 120th, Devon Gunter (21:11) was 144th, Ryan McComber (21:11) was 145th and Dillon Noland (21:33) was 166th.
Kansas won the 5K with an average time of 17:34.
