A Sulphur woman was injured in a drunk driving crash shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday on a county road five miles north of Daughtery.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Carol Cropper, 48, was driving northbound in a 1988 Mercury when she ran off the road and hit a tree. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Ardmore where she was admitted with multiple injuries. Her condition was listed as stable.

Cause of the collision was listed as driving under the influence.
