Services for Marilyn Sue Thatcher Griffith, 50, of Loco, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at the Ringling Community Fellowship, with Chad Barron officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Marilyn was born Feb. 4, 1963, to Loyd and Bertha Sullivan Thatcher at Ardmore. She died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at Fox.

Marilyn was raised in Ringling and attended Ringling School. She worked many years at Wade's Drive Inn and the Ringling Nursing Home. She married Mark Wayne Griffith on Nov. 11, 2002, in Duncan. She enjoyed being a loving mother, taking care of her home, family and visiting the casino, she also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, but her most prized enjoyment was her granddaughter, Jacee. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her father Loyd Thatcher; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Sullivan, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thatcher; sister Phyliss Lynn Thatcher; and nephew Jeremy Michael Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, of the home; son Dallas DeBoard of Loco; daughter Nicole and husband Houston Gazaway of Loco; granddaughter Jacee Gazaway of Loco; mother Bertha Thatcher of Ringling; sisters Vickey and husband Stevie Stine of Maysville, and Peggy Christian of Ringling; in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Griffith of Loco; sister-in-law Martha Griffith of Oklahoma City; and two nieces and two nephews.

Pallbearers are Montana Fondren, John Eakins, Mark Gazaway, Zachary Evans, Hoss Burris and Charles Griffith.

Family will receive friends at Roberts Funeral Home in Ringling from 6 to 8 this evening.
