Elsie was born on November 20, 1928, to Frank Fiala and Mary (Benda) Fiala at Cleveland, Ohio. She married Clifton Alderson on February 3, 1960. They owned Alderson Mobil Gas Station. Elsie had two daughters, Barbara Fike and Michele Harmon, both of Ardmore. Her daughters were blessed very much with a wonderful and loving mother their entire life. She also dearly loved her two sons-on-law, Robert Fike and Bud Harmon, also of Ardmore, her two grandsons, Brandon and Brian Fike, both of Dallas, Texas, and great-granddaughter, Aenya Fike, of Texas. Elsie also loved two special people in her life as if they were her own son and daughter, Michael Kelley and Alice Hartman. The care Alice gave Elsie for seven years was immeasurable in her devotion and love that she showed toward Elsie. Alice would say "That is my Momma, too." Michael Kelley was as close to Elsie's heart as her own son, always looking forward to seeing him and holding his hand with a special closeness at The Kingdom Hall meetings. She also had a very dear friend whom she loved as her sister, Sybil Milhoan. They spent many hours with each other, enjoying the many things they did together. Sybil preceded Elsie in death on November 11, 2013.
Elsie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 26, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, and truly loved serving Jehovah for over 31 years. Elsie always enjoyed watching movies and playing games with her dear friends and family. Her friends, family, and most importantly, Jehovah, were always very important in her life. Her meeting attendance at The Kingdom Hall was of the utmost importance to her while serving Jehovah. Elsie was known for her "pretty blue eyes" and her love for sharing with others as well as her "spunky spirit and love for people."
She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, Clifford; two sisters, and three brothers.
Elsie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Fike and husband, Bob, and Michele Harmon and husband, Bud, all of Ardmore, Okla.; son, Michael Kelley; grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, and Aeyna Fike.
