LONE GROVE — Funeral services for Ila Audra Davoult, 86, have been set for 2 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Lone Grove United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Harold Hunt. Burial will be in the Crinerville Cemetery.
A time of visitation and support for family and friends will be this afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m. at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore.
Ila Audra Hammer Davoult, was born to the late James I. Hammer and Lillian Pierce Hammer, August 26, 1927, at Brock, Oklahoma. She passed from this life to life everlasting Tuesday, December 3, 2013, in Plano, Texas, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter, Amy.
Ila grew up and attended schools in the Lone Grove community graduating from Lone Grove High School, in the Class of 1945. A homemaker, she had lived in the Lone Grove area most of her life and was a member of the Lone Grove United Methodist Church, where she supported the Loaves and Fishes program. At the YWCA she was active in the Silver Sneakers.
She and Gaylon Paul Davoult were married May 19 1998, at Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death May 19, 1998. In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by a son, James C. Early; and her sister, Idalue Chase.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Amy and Chris Sims, Plano, Texas, and Lynda and Ken Carr, Sulphur, Oklahoma; and her son and his wife, Stephen and Trini Early, Fort Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be Ken Carr, Chris Sims, Andrew Otis, Esteban Perez, Stephen Early and Joe Chase.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Lone Grove United Methodist Church.
