Services for LuJuana Bernice Worley, 79, of Thackerville, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gainesville, Texas, with Jim McCage officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, will be under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
Worley was born March 31, 1934, in Dallas, the daughter of Robert Osborne and Genevieve Elam Osborne. She passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
A resident of Love County since 1987, Worley had previously made her home in Georgia where she was employed as a distribution clerk at Army and Air Force Exchange Service. LuJuana enjoyed spending time with family, as well as quilting and gardening. She and Dwyn Ervoy Worley Sr. were married in Dallas on April 2, 1952, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1965. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Dwyn Worley Jr., sister Bobbie Osborne and grandson Casey McCage.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Katrina and Jim McCage of Thackerville, Charlotte Rice of Midlothian, Texas, and Tammie and Clark Huffstetler of Wiley, Texas; three sisters and brother-in-law, Jackie Davis of Savoy, Texas, Wanda and Doug Tisdale of Sherman, Texas, and Nan Hoover of Ector, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be Chad McCage, Cody McCage, Craig McCage, Cliff McCage, Chase McCage, Billy Fox, Damon Rice and Matthew Thias.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
