The Oklahoma City Thunder will continue its holiday tradition of a New Year's Eve game. Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the sixth New Year's Eve game for the Thunder, will tip off at 7 p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena. With several other events downtown Tuesday evening, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early for the game. Doors to the arena open at 5:30 p.m.

TICKETS: Fans can get in the game by browsing all available tickets through THUNDER.NBA.COM, including verified seats sold by other fans that guarantee access into Chesapeake Arena for the game. As with every regular-season game, the Thunder will offer a last-minute opportunity to win tickets at the Kia Thunder Rewards Zone. The final 50 pairs of tickets will be given away one hour before the game; registration begins on the north side of the arena at 4 p.m.

ENTERTAINMENT: In-game entertainment will include a national anthem performance by Guymon native Mark King, guitarist for Hinder. Prior to the anthem, Rev. Adam Ricks of Edmond's Connect United Methodist Church will offer the invocation. Magician J.P. Wilson will perform at halftime.

COMMUNITY HERO: The Thunder will honor its December Devon Community Hero during the game. This month, the team will recognize officers in the Oklahoma City Police Department Springlake Division, who went above and beyond in delivering a joyous holiday season for one Oklahoma City family. The officers helped Chance Jordan, Samantha Webb and their four kids find a new house to rent, furnished it with new appliances and furniture, and threw a party for the family with toys and gifts.

TUNE IN: The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports Oklahoma (OKC Cox 37/722 HD), starting with the "Thunder Live" pregame show at 6:30 p.m. Fans can also tune in on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS-The Sports Animal, 98.1 FM in Oklahoma City.
