The East Central University softball team split the final two games of a four-game Great American Conference series with Southern Nazarene falling in the opening game 6-7 (8 innings) and winning in the final game 8-0.
The Lady Tigers (14-12, 9-7 GAC) were led by junior Samantha McGraw, who hit .500 for the day. McGraw tallied three hits, scored once and added two RBIs.
Junior Brianna Nunley picked up the win in game two on the day, allowing four hits and zero runs. Redshirt freshman Sydney Dow threw a complete game in game one and suffered the loss. Dow allowed 12 hits and struck out four batters.
ECU will remain on the road today for the rivalry double-header at Southeastern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. The Tigers will then return home for a GAC weekend series with Arkansas-Monticello, March 28-29 at Lady Tiger Field.
