The Plainview girls golf team finished second at the Lake Murray Golf Tournament on Thursday.

The Lady Indians shot a 374, narrowly losing to Idabel, which won with a 365. 

Plainview’s Diana Healey finished third in the individual standings with a 90, Katelyn Walker finished fourth with a 92 and Allie Cook was fifth with a 92. 

Lauren Brown shot a 100 and Mary Jo Snyder contributed to the strong team finish with a 109.

Idabel took the top two spots. Ali White won the tournament with an 84 ,and Madelyn Lehr finished second with a 90.

Tishomingo finished fourth as a team, shooting a 407. Laina Marshall led the way finishing ninth individually with a 94, Kalie Carter shot a 100, Josie Holt had a 106, Morgan House shot 107 and Maggie Peercy shot 117.

Tishomingo’s Ashtan Chaney (124) and Annie Plummer (126) also played, but didn’t count towards the team score.

Lone Grove took sixth place with Christie Harris shooting a 103, Dakota Barron shot 105, Alexis Wright had a 106, Madison Claxton shot 108 and Ashleigh Fletcher shot 114.

Ardmore finished ninth as a team with Katelyn Hartman leading the Lady Tigers shooting 94 for an eighth-place finish. Sadie Saylor carded a 98, Reaghan Wilson and Hailey Sherfield shot 122 and Abby Wright had a 132. 

Three Davis golfers competed as individuals, with Shani Campbell shooting a 118, Brooklan Elkins shot 132 and Baylee Vinyard had a 139. 

Kinston’s Victoria Hodges was the school’s lone entry and she finished with a 101. 

Sulphur’s only golfer to enter was Hailee Barefoot who shot a 115. 

Dickson sent three golfers to the event. Karlee Marshall led the group with a 103, Katie Bolan shot 104 and Kaylee Marshall shot 117.
