Funeral services for Mary Louise (Roach) Sullivan, 61, formerly of Ardmore, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the New Velma Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Mary was born July 21, 1952, at Duncan, to the late Emmett Coy Roach and Jean Jacqueline “Jackie” (Means) Roach. She departed this life Monday, April 14, 2014, at Midwest City.
Mary was raised at Fox, attending school there. She was a nurse at Mercy Hospital Ardmore for many years until her early retirement due to an auto accident. She was a wonderful pianist and a beautiful singer. She was baptized at an early age at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Emmett and Jackie Roach; and grandparents G.W. and Lillie Roach and John and Ethel Means.
Survivors include her son, Chris Sullivan and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City; grandson Greyson Sullivan of Oklahoma City; sister Cathey Roach of Midwest City; brother Rick Roach and wife Julie of Kingston; nephew Brent Roach of Denver; niece Rebecca Roach of Lebanon, Ore.; aunt Ina Mae Blair of Duncan; numerous loving cousins; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
