Greg had attended school in Comanche until his family moved to Ardmore in 1987. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1989.

Greg married the former Rachel Faith Parsons on June 2, 1993, in Ardmore.

He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army on Feb. 4, 2010. Greg attended the Christ Community Church in Ardmore. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, watch movies and listen to music, and continued many of his activities while he fought his six-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Greg was a fighter and a “true hero” to all who knew him.
