The Turner girls golf team won the Class 2A Regional Tournament at Arrowhead Golf Course on Tuesday.

Turner shot a 344 to win with ease over second-place Latta’s 388.

Summit Christian was third with a 407, Velma-Alma and Central Sallisaw tied for fourth with 414 and Antlers took sixth with a 426. 

Andi McGill won the tournament with a 76, one over par for the best score of her career.

McGill edged Skyler Woessner of Summitt Christian for the tournament win.

The top four were separated by just three strokes. Claremore’s Addison Logornio and Riverfield’s Katie Goodin each shot 79 to tie for third. 

Perri McGill shot an 85 for Turner, Shelby Odell had a 91 and Terry McGill carded a 92.

The Class 2A state tournament will be held at Trosper Park Golf Club in Oklahoma City next Wednesday and Thursday.
