Ann Michelle (Ross) Bright, 42, of Ardmore, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at her home in Ardmore. She was born on March 8, 1972, in Pampa, Texas, to Henry Lee Ross and Sharon Ann McGill Ross.
Ann attended Madill Public Schools from kindergarten through her freshman year, with one year at Mannsville for first grade. She then moved to Plainview High School and graduated in 1990. Ann then attended classes at Ardmore Higher Education Center and the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center.
Ann married Richard Bright on March 18, 1995. They lived in Jacksonville, Fla., Beaufort, S.C., Virginia Beach, Va., and Aledo, Texas, before moving to Ardmore three years ago. She was a member of the Family of God Church in Ardmore, and enjoyed crafts and being with her kids and family.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Bright, Ardmore; children Zakkary T. Bright, Peyton L. Bright and Kylee B. Bright, all of Ardmore; parents Henry and Sharon Ross, Ardmore; and brothers Lee Ross and wife Shari, Norman, and Scotty Ross and wife Lori, Ardmore.
Ann was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford and Rena Ross and Woodrow and Thelma McGill.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Watts Funeral Home, Madill.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill. Oscar Miles will officiate the services. Singer is Amanda Phipps. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Jody Morgan, Kelly Morgan, Jason Morgan, Jathan Cantu, Brandon Freeman and Jeff Bowermaster.
Honorary bearers are classmates of 1990 MHS and PHS.
