  • Just in time for the start of the summer travel season in 10 days, motorists in Oklahoma and across the U.S. are finally seeing pump prices fall.

Oklahoma’s average price for regular stands at $3.396 today, down more than seven cents from the price nearly a month ago, according to FuelGaugeReport.AAA.com. Only Missouri at $3.371 has a lower statewide price average than Oklahoma today.

“Oklahoma’s day-to-day pump price average has not risen for 14 days, which is typical for this time of the year following the conclusion of refinery maintenance,” said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma. “Barring unexpected geopolitical or refinery issues, it appears likely that prices have hit their springtime peak.”
