Join nationally known percussionist Lee Ann Harris at The Chickasaw Regional (Public) Library System (CRLS) Headquarters in Ardmore at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18th as she presents the science of sound as part of this year’s Summer Reading Program.


Harris, who is world renowned in her field of music, will provide a demonstration of the role science plays in music as well as how music may be applied to the learning of various sciences.


Harris, a musician, singer, songwriter and recording artist, grew up in Ardmore, OK. After studying at The University of North Texas, her talents quickly took her to the West Coast where she performed with notable musicians such as Kenny Loggins, Peter Gabriel, Tito Puente, John Oates, Christopher Cross, Vince Gill and others.
