Memorial services for Ella Louise Loftis, 59, of Ardmore, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel at Clark Funeral Service in Tishomingo, with the Rev. Carl Loftis and the Rev. Sam Huff officiating. Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home & Crematory, Ardmore.

Ella was born Oct. 12, 1954, in Grandfield, to James and Beatrice Jean (Wafer) Walker. She went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2014, at her Ardmore residence.

Ella married Charles Eddie “Hobo” Loftis on Feb. 14, 2005, in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2014.

Ella was a graduate of Milburn High School, and had worked in housekeeping at Mercy Hospital Ardmore, and also had worked as a crew leader at the Dollar General Distribution Center. She had attended the House of Prayer in Ardmore and the Salvation Army Ladies Devotional.

Her father; husband; a son, Kevin Lamont Loftis; a grandson, Stacy Glenn Walker Jr.; and a niece, Kayla Walker, preceded her in death.

She is survived by sons Victor Loftis of Phoenix, Charles Jerrod Douglas Loftis, Stacy Glenn Walker Loftis and Christopher Eddie Loftis, all of Ardmore; a daughter, Charlene Chenelle Douglas Loftis of Moore; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother Beatrice Walker of Tishomingo; brothers Alfred Walker, Robert Walker and Felix Walker, all of Ardmore; a sister, Loretta Taylor of Tishomingo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
