AAA Oklahoma is offering a Motor Vehicle Crash Prevention Course in partnership with Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City on select Saturdays this summer and fall.
The low-cost classroom course is open to the public and is taught by a certified safety instructor, Mark Sprayberry, the “Safety Guy” at Tinker Air Force Base.
“The one-day course qualifies those who take it for a discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years,” said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma. “Motorists lean how to reduce risk on the road, simplify traffic scenarios and become safer drivers. Anyone with a driver’s license can participate.”
The OSU-OKC class will be given in the school’s Public Safety Training Center, 3501 W. Reno Ave., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on these Saturdays: July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 20.
Classroom MVCPC courses are also offered by AAA in Tulsa on campuses of Tulsa Technology Center and also at the University of Tulsa. For class dates, more information and to enroll, call Sheryl Williams at (800) 222-2582, (918) 748-1071 or visit AAA.com/DriverSafety. Online driver courses are also available.
