Going for Gold in Health is the theme for the 17th Annual Turning Point Conference and Policy Day sponsored by the Oklahoma Turning Point Council. The conference will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 2-3, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at the Reed Conference Center, 5750 Will Rogers Road in Midwest City. The public is invited to attend. Early registration is $60 and on-site registration will be $75.

The keynote speaker will be Shannon Miller. America's most decorated gymnast has an inspirational story of cancer survival as well as an important message on maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. Additional program speakers and break-out sessions will provide the tools to assist communities in health improvement.
