  • Charges are pending against a man who apparently brought a gun to a verbal dispute.
According to Ardmore Police Department reports, an officer responded to a disturbance complaint at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday in the unit block of Mill Street. Multiple witnesses said a man started an argument with another male customer, left the business and went to his truck, and then returned armed with a gun. The gun was returned to the truck prior to the arrival of officers.
The gun was recovered and confiscated by officers. No one was injured and no one was arrested at the scene. However, a report of carrying a firearm while under the influence was forwarded to the district attorney’s office for review.
