HEALDTON -- The community is invited to the library to meet local author Cleo LeVally.
LeVally, who wrote “The Spiritual Stepping Stones of Cleo LeVally” will be at the Healdton Community Library at 2 p.m. on Sept. 6.  She will meet, greet and sign books for individuals in the  meeting room.
Moving to Healdton in 1954, LeVally never dreamed that it would be her home for over 59 years. She has served her community well, including writing for the newspaper, preaching sermons at her local church and becoming involved in numerous civic organizations, event organizers report.
In her book, LeVally uses spiritual scripture to help others “find their way” in life.
“Cleo is an amazing leader who has worked tirelessly for Healdton and south central Oklahoma,” said Lynn McIntosh, executive director of CRLS. “She has been a valued trustee and supporter of the Chickasaw Regional Library System and the Healdton Community Library.”
This event is free and open to the public.
