A single motorcycle crash shortly before 11 p.m. Friday sent two Ardmore people to the hospital.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports indicate Robin Dale Rednose, 49, was westbound on Saybrook Road on a 2004 Harley Davidson. He told troopers a “T” intersection “came up on him too fast” and he laid the bike on its side to avoid crossing the intersection and striking trees lining a ditch.
Rednose was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital Ardmore. He was later transferred by ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. OHP reported the local man was admitted with internal injuries to the metro medical facility in what was described as stable condition.
Melissa Vickers, 28, identified as a passenger on the motorcycle was also taken to the Ardmore hospital by private vehicle. She was treated and later released.
The patrol said neither Rednose or Vickers were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
Cause of the accident was listed as inattention.
