Market to have plenty of fresh produce on sale

Ardmore, OK —

As a registered 100-percent Oklahoma Grown Market, Market Place On Broadway features locally grown, fresh produce.


This Saturday, the market will have early-season, vine-ripened greenhouse tomatoes from Stratford Greenhouse, as well as grape tomatoes, seedless cucumbers, radishes, spinach, asparagus, bedding plants and hanging baskets.


There will also be lots of just-picked strawberries from Chris Woodruff of Woodruff Farms.


You will find radishes, onions, baby Bok Choi and fresh-cut flowers from Greg and Catherine of Labybug Farm. 


Melvett’s Farm Fresh Vegetables will have green onions, collard greens and radishes.


Need fresh herbs? Stop by Deer Creek Acres and see Frank Simpson. He will also have green onions and bedding plants. Sanford Soap and Crafting will have Swiss chard, herbs and liquid laundry soap. Have a visit with Cindy Landreth and you will find some wonderful handmade soap.


For a great cup of coffee and friendly faces, a visit to Market Place On Broadway is sure to please all. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday at 106 E. Broadway St. in Ardmore.
