Dickson High School sets graduation ceremonies for May 17

Commencement exercises for Dickson High School seniors will be at 8 p.m. May 17 in the Ardmore Convention Center.

The baccalaureate service will precede the graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Robert Peterson, pastor of the New Hope Church of God, will be the speaker.

Amanda Jantz, the daughter of  Phillip and Devee Jantz, is the valedictorian with a 4.31 grade point average. She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and become a physician. She is an Oklahoma Academic Scholar and Oklahoma Academic All-State award winner.

Kevin Parsons, the son of Steve and Jackie Parsons, is a salutatorian with 4.18 grade point average. He plans to attend college, major in mathematics education and play baseball.

Lindsei Dees, the daughter of Brian and Carolyn Dees and Lou Ann Mason, is a salutatorian with a 4.10 grade point average. She plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and become a surgeon.
