Daisy is a 3-year-old, spayed female, Basenji-type dog. She is a very quiet, easygoing dog who weighs 21 pounds. When you call her name, she doesn’t run to you — she prances and skips across the room to greet you. It is not unusual for her to jump her front legs onto your chair and hold her paw up to ask to shake hands. Daisy really likes to be with people. She will obediently walk on a leash or follow at your heels “off leash” everywhere you go. She also sits for treats and she is even housebroken! Talk about an intelligent dog. She learned within minutes how to open the doggy gate in the director’s office. Daisy’s only downfall is she is not good with small children.
