Aycox chosen as 'Woman of the Year' by local ABWA chapter

Ardmore, OK —

The Arbuckle Chapter of American Business Women’s Association is announcing Kara Aycox as the 2007-08 Woman of the Year.

She has been employed with Noble Energy Inc. for eight years. Aycox works as an office service clerk and has been an ABWA member for eight years, having served as chapter chairperson for the scholarship committee and as vice president, according to ABWA President Lesilie Walker.

She is president elect for the coming year.

Aycox is a volunteer for March of Dimes, Relay for Life and the American Heart Association. She’s also involved in her three’s children’s school and sports activities.

She is a member of the Ardmore Desk and Derrick Club, Alumni of Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Chi. She’s also a member of First Baptist Church in Healdton where she resides.


Aycox has a bachelor’s degree in human resource counseling and is currently working on her master’s degree for licensed professional counseling.
